Introducing Copilot

Copilot has been sold to the Freckleton Stud, where he will continue his career as both a ridden horse and a stallion.  He will be available to a limited number of mares in 2010 so please contact Penny at the stud to request a nomination form.  Penny has a wealth of experience and we felt that she would be able to do him the justice he deserved.

Copilot is a stunning up and coming young stallion purchased from Solaris sport horses in 2007 and owned by Marrus Stud. He has certainly made his mark in the show ring during 2008 being a prolific winner all over the country. To date he has gained three First premiums at evaluations with The Scottish Sportshorse, Chaps & BSPA and was the highest scoring youngster at both his Chaps and BSPA evaluations.

  Copilot

Copilot naturally has very expressive elevated off the floor movement which wows people wherever he goes.

His confirmation is very good as he has a fantastic neck which is of good length, naturally topped and very swan like in shape. He has a good front and shoulder with a strong short coupled back and very powerful hind quarters and lovely limbs with a very pretty exquisite head. In addition to this is his kind nature and fantastic temprament which is all important in a future stallion.

Copilot has been lightly shown so far this season, picking up from where he left of at the end of 2008.  He has already some fantastic results and Championships qualifying for all the finals we have aimed him at.  He is now on holiday as he has already proven himself in the show ring and gained valuable experience. We will assess him early in 2010 with a view to him going forward for grading with the relevant societies in that year.

Copilot has some of the best lines from Europe in his pedigree an i feel it would be fair to say if not the only coloured colt then one of a very few with these lines.

Anyone who wishes to express an interest in using Copilot in 2010 can do so by sending an email to Freckleton Stud.
